Today, our guest speaker was Margie Wilhelmi, Director of Marketing with the Wheaton Park District. 
Our club has worked with Margie and her staff for many years as co-sponsors of the Fun Run in Color. Today's presentation provided an overview of the current goings on at the Park District.
Selected highlights:
* Briar Patch Park at 1700 Briarcliffe Blvd.: planned addition of pickleball courts as part of upgrades to this park
* Sensory Garden Playground at 2751 Navistar Drive, Lisle (https://playforalldupage.org/). The Playground is specifically designed to address the recreational needs of the more than 2,500 families in DuPage County having a child with
autism. The Playground is open to all, and there is a Park District sponsored play day on Saturday 7/20 and 8/20.
