Sunny skies and warm temperatures greeted over 300 participants in the 11th Annual Fun Run held at the DuPage Sensory Playground/Play For All. Taking advantage of the 3K Run, participants from infants to grandparents had a terrific outing including meeting their Superheros, and enjoying post run refreshments inside the Playground.
Located at 2751 Navistar Drive, Lisle, IL 60532 the playground (https://playforalldupage.org/about/) is an amazing community resource offering something for all the senses–seeing, hearing, touching and smelling. Like the scent of the herbs in the fragrance garden, the sound of children playing on the large drums and chimes in the sound garden, the feeling of roaring through the air on high-back swings, and the sight of families gathering together and encouraging cooperative, side-by-side play in the central gathering space.
