Today, our guest speaker was Gail Foster, Executive Director of Poised For Success ("PFS").
Located at 55 W. 22nd Street, Suite 112, in Lombard, PFS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Chicagoland area. Since 1998, their mission is to provide, at no charge, beautiful interview and business appropriate clothing to women who are on assistance and in the job market through a social service agency referral program. Whether it’s a veteran having served our country and transitioning to the civilian workforce, a domestic violence survivor or a single mom. What they share is a desire to be self sufficient and financially independent through employment. There is a special transformation that takes place when PFS finds the right clothes for the right person. Clients are referred by social service agencies and seen by appointment.
