Perhaps you have driven past past the school (406 S. Main Street, Wheaton / across the street from the Central Athletic Complex) and wondered "What is it?"
Today, our guest speaker was Lynette Zellis, founder (in 2003) and President of Noteable Notes. The Academy offers private and group lessons for all ages in piano, guitar, drums, violin/viola, cello, voice, woodwind, and brass instruments. Lessons are offered in 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions, once a week.
Passionate on the subject of teaching students to perform, she focused on the bringing out the best in the students, on the dedicated, highly trained and engaging music teachers, and the relationships formed between the students and the teachers. Interestingly, some of the teachers are students from the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music.
