Today, our guest speaker was Ashlee Tyberg representing Living Well Cancer Resources (LWCR).
Since 2005, LWCR offers free programs and services designed to strengthen, empower, educate and provide hope to patients with cancer and their families. Whether you are a patient, caregiver or family member, LWCR can help you navigate your way through a cancer diagnosis, treatment and early survivorship. LWCR provides comfort and community to anyone impacted by cancer through counseling and social work services; support groups; fitness, yoga, art and nutrition classes; medical presentations; and wig boutique.
Living Well is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization located in Geneva and in Winfield. Now part of the Northwestern Medicine, operations continue to be funded by donations.
