Today, our guest speaker was Alex Zhdan. His subject was the Ukrainian refugee care in Ukraine and Romania being provided by the Highpoint Send Network of churches.
Much of his presentation dealt with his experiences in the refugee center in Chernovtsy, Ukraine, and the refugee centers in Sigeht and in Mamaia Nord, Romania.
Alex was joined by Igor, a Ukrainian refugee who described (with translation by Alex) his and his family's war experiences as residents in the Donetsk region (pre-invasion), and as refugees in Mariupol during the Russian assault.
