Encore career: what comes next?

Our guest speaker today was Megan Van Treeck, Account Executive - Group Ticket Sales & Service with Northwestern University. Her topic was not the Northwestern sports teams but rather her process to transition from 20+ years as a specialty retail shop owner to Northwestern University. Very briefly, she used aggressive networking to be introduced to potential employers, and interviewed them not for a specific job but rather to solicit what it is that makes theirs a great place to work.
