Today, our guest speaker was Allison Orr, Executive Director of the DWA.
What is the DWA? It is a non-profit marketing and economic development organization of downtown businesses, supporting those business owners and bridging the gap between the business and the residential communities in Wheaton. While well known for sponsoring popular events throughout the year (see below as well as Downtown Wheaton Happenings Calendar at https://www.downtownwheaton.com/events) the DWA actively pursues businesses to locate in the downtown area.
