Today's speaker was our very own Mike Harvey. His topic: Cybersecurity: Current Threats and How to Protect Yourself, Your Computers, and Your Data. 
What Mike anticipated would be a brief and boring presentation developed into an extended discussion with the club members. The threat landscape is rapidly expanding (Phishing scams, Virus/Malware, Ransomware, etc.) because it is easy and profitable. Much of the discussion focused on how we can protect ourselves: Think before you click, password design & management, data & email retention practices, backups, encryption, keeping software & systems up to date, using reputable anti-virus products.
