3/23/22
Today, our guest speaker was Kadija Khan, social worker with the Wheaton Police Department.
Our police, fire department and school personnel are frequently involved in situations better suited to the skills and experience of social workers. While her presentation focused on mental health intervention, the city's website (https://www.wheaton.il.us/1079/Social-Services-Resources) not only provides information about mental health services but also other social service services available to community residents.
