Today, our guest speaker is fellow Rotarian Scott Witte, Horticulture Director at Cantigny Park
Scott has presented periodic updates of the multi-year project, and today we took a video tour of the Phase I and Phase II work. Phase I of Project New Leaf was completed in early 2019. Phase II was finished in September 2020. Phase III: a comprehensive renovation of McCormick House, Colonel McCormick’s formal home, began in November 2020, with the mansion expected to reopen to the public in the spring of 2022.
