Today, our guest speaker was Rob Wilkinson - CEO of the Ryall YMCA. Rob addressed how the Y responded to the Covid-19 pandemic, updates to the buildings & grounds, and current programs for both children and adults. 
Founded in 1919, the B.R. Ryall YMCA of Northwestern DuPage County has been serving the communities of Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Glendale Heights, Winfield, Warrenville, West Chicago and Carol Stream for more than a century.
Covid-19 was a severe challenge, but by adapting where possible (Zoom programs, and on-site social distancing & masking) they got through it.
While perhaps best known for their fitness facilities, childcare, youth and sports programs, the Y's focus on improving individual health and well-being now includes:
* The teen after school/mental health initiative (with financial support of both the DuPage County Board, and the DuPage Foundation),
* Support of the Crisis service 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and
* Parkinson’s events & presentations
