Today, our guest speaker was club member Scott Witte, Horticulture Director at Cantigny Park.
The presentation was the latest in a series on Project New Leaf, the multi-year updating of the Park. Today's presentation focused on the one-acre Idea Garden which opened in 1990. The Idea Garden has been a place for home gardeners to gather ideas that can be applied in their own landscapes. It’s fun, quirky and always inspirational. The garden update includes some big changes including a waterfall, running stream, boulders and footbridge.
