Club announces 2016-2017 Scholarship Winners

The Rotary Club of Wheaton A.M. is pleased to announce that the winners of its two scholarships are Colleen Ward (Wheaton North) and Elli Pointner (St. Francis). Colleen will be attending the University of Oklahoma, and Elli will be attending Marquette University. Colleen, Elli, and their respective families attended our April 20 breakfast meeting. Congratulations to both Colleen and Elli! 

 

Each year the club selects two scholarship winners from among dozens of well deserving applicants from Wheaton Academy, St. Francis High School, Wheaton North High School, and Wheaton - Warrenville South High School. Scholarship winners each receive $1,000 per year for four years for college tuition.

 

Funds for the scholarships are provide by our fundraisers: poinsettia sales at Christmas, and the Fun Run in Color jointly sponsored with the Wheaton Park District in early April.
